Complaints and appeals

Every complaint is handled impartially.

This page explains how to raise a complaint about our work or a body we have accredited, and how to appeal an accreditation decision.

Complaint

An expression of dissatisfaction with DunavCert’s work or with a body we have accredited, where a response is expected.

Appeal

A request by a conformity assessment body to reconsider a decision about its accreditation — for example a refusal, suspension, withdrawal or scope reduction.

Procedure

How we handle it

  1. 01

    Submission

Submit your complaint or appeal in writing — by email or using the form — with a description and any available evidence.

  2. 02

    Acknowledgement

We confirm receipt and let you know the next steps.

  3. 03

    Investigation

The matter is investigated and decided by people who were not involved in the assessment or decision concerned.

  4. 04

    Decision and response

You receive formal written notice of the outcome and the end of the process.

Our commitments

  • Submitting a complaint or appeal does not lead to any discriminatory action against the person or organization that raised it.
  • Information about the submitter and the matter is treated as confidential.
  • A complaint about an accredited body is referred to that body, and we follow up on how it is resolved.
